ITT – The fact that strict immigration policies in the U.S is “closing the barrier” to immigrants is raising a question if Vietnamese people should continue their plan to study abroad in this country.
In July 14th, the most talented Vietnamese students who are studying in the U.S had a chance to gather and discuss strict immigration policies in the U.S. At the meeting, the presenters claimed that these policies are not fully worked at the moment. Therefore, it is too soon for Vietnamese students to give up on their study abroad plan at this time.
However, this new movement of President Trump can be a great barrier for Vietnamese students in the near future. Although study in the U.S is great, it is not the only way to develop oneself. Studying abroad is a chance to widen our knowledge, education background and gain experience. These achievements are much more important than becoming a citizen of the country. Moreover, in the globalization of the new world, there are always opportunities for the youth to contribute.
When they are ready and already clafrify their target, they can choose to go their own path despite strict immigration policies in the U.S.
