Introduction
AP Biology is an introductory college-level Biology course. Students cultivate their understanding of Biology through inquiry-based investigations as they explore the following topics: evolution, cellular processes – energy and communication, genetics, information transfer, ecology, and interactions.
Goals
Encourage learners to think critically, explore, evaluate business issues from different perspectives and have a holistic view of the world of business.
Provide opportunities for scientific study and creativity within a global context which will stimulate and challenge students.
Provide a body of knowledge, methods and techniques which characterize science and technology.
Develop experimental and investigative scientific skills.
Encourage an understanding of the relationships between scientific disciplines and the overarching nature of the scientific method.
Characteristics
Small group (maximum 8 students/class).
Qualified and experienced teachers.
Follow on AP curriculum.
Develop solving problems and analysis skills.
Supply tips and methods for AP exams.
