ITT – It can be seen that there are many Vietnamese students would like to learn in international environment at high school. However, choosing the international program for children is not easy.

Choosing the international program for children is difficult because there are a lot of international schools are offering international program at high school, bilingual program and pre-university that offer a wide variety of programs, degrees and tuition fees. It depends on the current and future learning needs, parents need to identify their child’s learning needs as well as their financial ability to pursue the program.

Many international schools offer training programs from other countries such as UK, US, France, Australia, Canada… At these schools, students will study the same content as the national program in high school. These programs have high tuition fees, but the program content in international environment and native teachers will help students access to the educational environment of developed countries.

Another option is IB program. Due to the rigorous evaluation and prestige, only some schools are allowed to train this program.

Why should you choose IB?

The data shows that more than 4,000 schools in 157 countries are teaching the program, including some in Vietnam. The conditions for reviewing and approving IB training are extremely difficult, with a limited number of students.

There are 12 international schools in Vietnam training programs. There are PYP program for students aged 3 to 12, MYP program for students ages 11-16, DP program for students aged 16 to 19. Some schools offer 3 levels of IB.

Of these, the highest level of IB (Diploma Program) is for students aged 16 to 19. This program is set up as two-year foundation for international students. With a fairly comprehensive set of subjects and courses, IB is recognized by many universities around the world, especially in US and Europe.

According to educational experts, IB is a program that helps students prepare well for college and work in the future. Graduates of the International Baccalaureate program will have more opportunities to choose majors than at the undergraduate level. When looking for work opportunities, IB is considered one of the most prestigious “pre-university” degrees very suitable for choosing the international program for children.
