What is GRE exam?

ITT – GRE is one of entrance requirements of universities in US for postgraduate program. The questions of GRE exam are designed to assess thinking ability of candidates to learn at business school or any postgraduate levels. Thus, what is GRE exam?

GRE (Graduate Record Examination) certificate are used for comparison and evaluation of academic achievements of graduates with transcripts and other relevant certificates.

To pass GRE, you need to understand what is GRE exam? GRE exam structure depends on each type. General GRE (General Test) is common exam for all students want to learn graduate programs and specialized GRE (Subject Test) is specialized exam in 8 sectors (Chemistry, Biology, Math…).

In General Test, candidates have to do test on computer with 3 parts: language, quantitative and analytical writing. Analytical writing doesn’t concentrate on specific problems in any research fields, which is just a set of important skills for potential students.

In Subject Test, candidates do paper test. This exam helps them stand out compared to other candidates by emphasizing knowledge and skills in a particular field. This test includes of 8 specific sectors such as Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Molecular Biology, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, English Literature, Math, Physics and Psychology. To determine an appropriate test for yourself, candidates need to refer to curriculum that you would like to register. There is not GRE mark of ‘pass’ or ‘fail’, each of postgraduate program requires a different minimum level and the higher GRE mark you get, the greater opportunity you can enter to school and get scholarship.

To achieve high result as expectation in any exams, anyone needs to find out carefully. If self-learning is too difficult, you should find a prestigious GRE preparation center, set scoring objectives and make a detail preparation plan.
