A-level Chemistry is now an important subject, which provides for students more career opportunities and open path of studying abroad in developed countries. However, possessing specialized knowledge and outstanding academic English skills is not enough to get high scores in the examination.   1. Doing self-study: Students should review previous lessons, prepare for new ones, do exercises as much as they can, concentrate deeply during process of study, ask teachers or friends about questions for unknown things, and spend time on studying academic English. They need to learn and memorize 10 or 20 new words per day and write on notebooks, so they can review these whenever they can.

  3. Sustaining high-performance mentality: This factor plays an important role in getting high scores. Therefore, students should not be too nervous and inflict pressure for themselves. During the process of preparing for the test, they need to get enough sleep or nutrition to nourish their bodies, try to relax in order to sustain high-performance mentality
  4. Learning with tutors: If their self-study method is not efficient, or they cannot keep concentration on lessons when doing self-study, or simply they cannot study together with friends, they need to seek private tutors to get tips for A-level Chemistry exam for themselves.
