Only focus on English and underestimate the subject knowledge: There are students who assume that defects in knowledge can be amended by writing long essays showing of their English skills when they take an exam. Assume that Chemistry international program is more advanced than Chemistry public program: When learning Chemistry in English, a few students who are studying at international schools tend to think Chemistry international program is advanced, catching up with the time and more completed than Chemistry public program, therefore, there no need to find homeschool tutors or learn after school tutoring program. This is a wrong perception since the knowledge of the two types of programs is relatively the same even when their learning methods are different.
