Mistakes easily taken when learning Physics in English

ITT – If you wish to become an international scientist in the future, you must start learning natural sciences subjects now, in which there is Physics. However, there are mistakes easily taken when learning Physics in English which may cause learning inefficiency.

The knowledge of Physics in English may be one of the most “boring” among all sciences subjects. Despite that, if you manage to understand all, you will find it is just as interesting as others and can bring a lot of opportunities. Nowadays, learning Physics in English has become popular. Let’s have a look at a few mistakes easily taken when learning this subject and fix them.

1. Assume that you cannot learn Physics if you are not good at English: Many tend to think that in order to learn Physics, they need a steady knowledge foundation and they must be trained since they were a child. Those who are not good at English can never be able to learn Physics and it is too late to learn now. This is a wrong mindset to think that you should not learn because it is too late. The ability to learn greatly depends on your passion, determination and practice. It is never too late to learn something and there will be success if you don’t give up.
2. It is only good if you study abroad: A few people think that Vietnam’s level is lower than other countries’, the knowledge learned in Vietnam would not help when they are abroad. However, remember that no tree can grow without its root. A person who has never learned Physics will never be good at it even when they are living in the most developed country.
3. Good at communicative English but bad at academic English: In order to understand Physics in English, you need to have terms and vocabulary related to the subject. Most people focus on communicative English only and forget about specialized English. Moreover, there are few English teachers in Vietnam who have the ability to teach specialized English. So when learning Physics in English, students will faced with this challenge.
