ITT – Beside IB, there is another choice for high school students who want to study at universities in America that is AP. In Vietnam, there are a few people know about this exam. However, not everyone knows that universities in America often make a priority for AP program. So how to find an AP tutor?
AP is an advanced classified program, which is held by College Board. If IB program requires student attend to a 2-year program at IB program, AP is good news for students who do not attend to international schools but want to study abroad in America. Examinees can take part in to the AP exam freely by knowing how to find an AP tutor to help them and sign up at places that hold this exam. It does not mean you can distract from AP exam because it is not easy.
The content of AP program is the same as IB but it depends on the specific subject. The score of subjects is from 1 – 5, but you can reach the requirement of most of schools at 3. AP might be not common but we cannot deny its benefit. Firstly, the opportunity to be accepted and received scholarship from schools will be higher. Secondly, if you have a good result in 3 or 4 subjects in AP exam, you can accumulate correlative credits at college level which help you save time and costs. Moreover, this exam will equip necessary skills for higher levels. So how to find an AP tutor to pass this exam effectively?
In Vietnam, there are not many places offer AP program because it is not as common as IB. Therefore, it is not easy to find a good tutor. You need to ensure that the tutor has to have specialized knowledge and good knowledge about AP program as well as pedagogical skills. In addition, one of a factor when choosing a suitable tutor is their English (in both at pronunciation and specialized words). Only when all of the above is guaranteed, does the teaching and learning become effective.
