If you compare IGCSE as the level of grade 9 or 10 in Vietnam, A-level Math can be equivalent to grade 11 and 12. However, students easily find the gap between IGCSE and A-level is big. This may be because most students are familiar with the habits of only studying when they don’t understand or stopping when a topic is finished. In order to successfully master A-level Math, students need to constantly review and practice various types of exercises because firstly, most knowledge of this program is advanced and difficult, secondly, all parts are connected to each other. In order to solve a problem of a topic, it requires knowledge from other topics. More importantly, students also need to integrate and expand the vision on a problem.

As we can see, for A-level Math, even though it is not an easy subject, you won’t find many difficulties if you study hard and continuously doing exercises from basic to advanced level over and over again, pay attention to the lessons in classes, don’t neglect or ignore any part and most importantly, have an assistant from a professional and experienced person in this field by enrolling in after school tutoring programs. By doing this, you will catch up with classes and have a strong knowledge foundation before planning to studying abroad, especially in England.
