How to score SAT test?

SAT is designed to increase the knowledge and skills of students in English. Successfully completing a well-rounded exam for the essay, students will have a perfect resume, which will be appreciated by school. In general, College Board’s original SAT exam will consist of two types:

– SAT 1 includes Math, Reading, Writing.

– SAT 2 is a separate test for each subject depending on the subject you are required to take, but usually you can choose from these subjects: Literature, History, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and other foreign languages.

On the scale, old SAT test will have a range of 600-2.400, but new SAT test scores range from 400 to 600. Just like old SAT test, new SAT test also emphasizes reasoning skills but focuses more on the knowledge that prepares them for college and career success in the future.

In addition, old SAT test requires applicants to write essay at first in 25 minutes and it’s compulsory. However, new SAT test gives candidates 50 minutes to write an essay and it’s an optional part. Thereby, universities will assess candidates for reading skills, analysis and writing skills of each individual.

Whether you choose to take SAT 1 or SAT 2, each candidate must equip themselves with the skills they need, such as hypothesis testing, data analysis, scientific problem solving, rapid completion and take the test quickly.
