Currently, there are many international programs being taught in Vietnam such as IB, AP, IGCSE, A-level… Each program will have its own structure of Biology in English test, such as the AP Biology exam structure as follows:
- Part 1: Multiple choice tests, consisting of 60 questions (discrete questions, set questions, and math questions), done in 90 minutes, accounting for 50% of the total score.
- Part 2: Free section, consisting of 6 questions (2 long questions focusing on evaluating test results and 4 short questions about the scientific investigation, conceptual analysis, model analysis or visual representation, analyzing data), done in 90 minutes, accounting for 50% of the total score.
Meanwhile, the IB Biology exam structure will include 3 tests as follows:
