How to teach science in English?

ITT – Nowadays, many schools are aiming to integrate into the world, highlighting the training and increasing the number of teachers to meet the requirements in the process of developing our country education. How to teach science in English?

According to experts, in education management, the current barrier is that most teachers do not guarantee foreign languages ability. Although students are learning English from third grade but up to sixth grade, many students are still unable to access natural science classes with new content and knowledge in English.

In the education improving process, how can we face with these barriers and how to help teachers know how to teach science in English?

To be a good teacher is difficult, to become a good teacher teaching subjects in English is even harder. Therefore, teaching in English requires teachers to improve themselves, develop their foreign languages ability to access materials from many sources.

According to some students, when they are learning science in English, although not listening and understand all what teachers say, most of them understand the article. Many students are eagerly waiting for the next lesson in English and found it is quite interesting.

It is not enough to master the terminology of the subject, as classroom teacher also has to control the class, talk to the students, even to communicate well the lesson, exchange ideas with students. Sometimes, teachers have to mention things that are not science.

However, not only teachers need more effort to improve their English skills, students also have to work harder to gain knowledge and give feedback. Their English skills are uneven so in the teaching process, teachers have to find familiar way to make every students understand.

In other words, both teachers and students must strive, especially each teacher must be active and set goals in teaching to know how to teach science in English.
