How to practice IB Physics past papers?

ITT – For any IB course, training of the previous years is a method that you always apply. IB Physics past papers will help those who are studying this subject better.

IB Physics is a difficult subject and is often the least chosen by students in Science group, because there are many formulas, rules, definitions, phenomena… that they must remember throughout two years.

At both Higher Level and Standard Level, there are a total of 3 papers that they have to go through while studying this subject, including Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3, accounting for 80% of the total and an Internal Assessment at the end of the course, taking 20% of the remaining score.

When practicing IB Physics past papers, they must determine the time left before each exam, then distribute the time to avoid putting too much knowledge into it. You have to learn near the exam date, making it impossible to remember them all.

After planning revision, students should use mind maps or systematically refine their own knowledge in each chapter, then conduct theoretical learning and practice exercises by using word formulas.

You need to rediscover the exam of at least 3 years earlier to practice, just read through all the topics to understand the structure, the time allowed and the core knowledge needs to master through each chapter. Then, start solving each part of past paper until you reach the time allowed in each section to complete a whole set of problems. When you start, you do not need to set the problem of time, but with the next time, you have to speed up until you reach the time as new rules.

During IB Physics past papers, you can also organize group lessons to complement each other’s knowledge, improve their learning spirit and responsibility rather than just sitting alone.
