ITT – Maths is not limited to international schools curriculum, but also applied in many integrated programs. Parents start to seek academic centers teaching Maths. So “Where to learn IB Maths?” has not ever become such a hot question before.
At the present, integrated classes with Maths and Sciences teaching programs has been started to launch in Vietnam’s state schools from the primary level. This new type of educating program is a considerable move in Vietnamese education, but it also causes a lot of difficulties for students, especially Maths. Teaching and learning bilingual program is an opportunity for students to practice foreign languages, but language barrier has affected partly their abilities to absorb lessons in classes.
In 2012, in program of evaluating competency of international students, which is initiated and conducted by The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Vietnamese students was ranked at 17th position in Maths subject in the list of 65 countries participating in. In international mathematical contests, Vietnam is always positioned in Top 5 – Top 10. This reveals that Vietnamese students have potential for learning Maths, they have just not found appropriate methods to learn Maths and centers teaching it as well. So where to learn IB Maths?
