ITT – GRE is a test that assesses the qualifications and abilities of students who apply for a master-doctoral program in the fields of natural sciences and social sciences. So what is GRE exam preparation for beginners?
GRE is used to compare and evaluate academic performance in addition to college transcripts and other relevant qualifications. The test consists of 2 forms: GRE General Test and GRE Subject Test. GRE Subject Test primarily measures students’ understanding through specific fields such as Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Literature in English, Psychology. To find out what is GRE exam preparation for beginners, students need to go through the structure of each exam.
Type 1: GRE General Test is made on computer, including 3 tests in 225 minutes:
- Quantitative: 70 minutes (40 questions).
- Verbal: 70 minutes (20 questions).
- Analytical Writing: 30 minutes.
Type 2: GRE Subject Test is a paper-based test and is held three times a year, including majors:
- Cell and Molecular Biology.
- Computer Science.
- English Literature.
GRE exam preparation for beginners should be done first from taking a practice test to assess your ability, then creating a study pathway or going to prestigious centers for a professional review process. You should also learn how to calculate points, how to assess skills, exam structure, question types of each section and test requirements. Do not forget to pay attention to Math skills like algebra, arithmetic and geometry.
